Over the years we have experimented with closure systems. We have sewn on magnetic strips, screwed on closures that have a magnetic-mechanical effect and riveted on buckles. The test results showed again and again - for our tausche bag the Velcro closure system is the most sensible one. It is inexpensive, easy to attach, it has a high flexibility in the closing positions and it is a great protection against theft.
Not all people and their requirements are the same and so we wanted to do justice to the people who were embarrassed by the loud noise when opening the bag. And here he it is - the »Leisetreter« (pussyfooter).
The »Leisetretter« turns our Velcro into a magnetic closure! It combines the advantages of Velcro with those of magnetic closure. From now on you have both possibilities. So simple and so brilliant. No change of the popular exchange system, but an ingenious addition that you can use flexibly. You don't lose your beloved velcro, you only change it to a magnet system if necessary.
You attach one part to the bag base and the other to the flap. And lo and behold, they attract each other magically. The opening and closing is now done by magnet, and you also prolong the life of the fleece on the bag base. This way you don't hear any more "rattle" that you usually hear from your tausche bag. So you can take your cough drop unnoticed even in the second movement of the symphony. And if you want to have the "RATTLE" theft protection again, simply remove the »Leisetreter« again.
The »Leisetreter« works great with new bags. If you have tired fleece strips on older bags, it is advisable to have a fleece exchange first. The seamstresses in Thuringia sew new fleece on your bag. And not only that, they will also repair damaged belt straps or defective seams. Send us your bag and tell us what you want done: Belt, fleece, worn seams... all that can be repaired.
